Leigh Dannhauser

I am a senior Journalism & Mass Communications and Religion double major. I have also been captain of Washington and Lee's track and field team for two years, competing in the high jump, pole vault and javelin. I am originally from Bronxville, N.Y., but will be headed home to Cotuit, Mass., after graduation. I am searching for a job in sports communications or coaching track. In the past I have worked on the Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader's sports desk and as a staff assistant for the Rockbridge Rapids baseball team.

Mickey Gorman

I am a senior Business Journalism major. I have been the president of Washington and Lee's Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. I am from Pelham, N.Y., but will be moving to Baltimore after graduation to work for M&T Bank. I have previously held jobs as a business reporter for the Richmond Times-Dispatch and as a construction laborer for Stonewall Contracting Corp. I enjoy watching sports and listening to stand-up comedy.

Cory Smith

I am a junior journalism major and Latin American and Caribbean Studies minor. I also pitch for the Generals baseball team.  I am from Roanoke, Va, but will be spending my summer up near Philadelphia to write for the Express-Times in Easton, Pa.  I will be in the sports department covering summer baseball, including the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, as well as other sports.  I previously had an internship covering local sports for the Salem Times-Register back home.  In my spare time, I like to read and watch sporting events that are not hockey or soccer (except for the World Cup).  I also love to travel, and have been to six other countries and two U.S. territories.  I hope to visit at least one country on every continent.
